NHL Betting: Player Props – Gaudreau, Kuznetsov, & Norris – 03/18/22

Three players are primed to continue their goal-scoring output tonight in THW’s daily prop bets.

Anytime Goal-Scorer – Johnny Gaudreau (Over 0.5, +135)

The Calgary Flames continue to dominate opponents on a nightly basis and get contributions from their stars, Johnny Gaudreau included. The bet is for him to continue to score at the great pace he’s been on. He has scored seven goals in the past eight games and potted a goal last game against the New Jersey Devils.

He has 27 goals on the year and is looking to join teammates Elias Lindholm and Andrew Mangiapane in the 30-goal club. If Gaudreau keeps up the pace he’s on, he will hit it sooner than later. The matchup is favourable tonight for him and the Flames as they play the Buffalo Sabres who are coming off a 6-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers and are expected to have their backup goaltender in.

Anytime Goal-Scorer – Evgeny Kuznetsov (Over 0.5, +300)

Evgeny Kuznetsov, who’s been red hot of late, has sneaky good odds to score a goal in their game tonight. This is a combination of him having 20 goals on the season and playing a great Carolina Hurricanes team who is first in the league in goals against.

Despite that, he has been buzzing and is on a seven-game point streak in which he’s scored four goals. The Hurricanes’ backup Antti Raanta is expected to start since Frederik Andersen got the start against the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. The Hurricanes are a tough matchup for opponents to score, but Kuznetsov is a prime candidate to continue his pace.

Anytime Goal-Scorer – Josh Norris (Over 0.5, +110)

Both the Ottawa Senators and Philadelphia Flyers are expected to be down a significant player after Thomas Chabot suffered a season-ending injury and Claude Giroux will be held out of tonight’s game. Though the Senators haven’t been very good lately, winning two of their past 10 games, the Flyers are no better. They have only won six of their last 30 games and are without their captain.

Josh Norris Ottawa Senators

Josh Norris lines up to continue his offensive output in goals when they face the Flyers’ backup goaltender Martin Jones on the back end of a back-to-back. Norris has five goals in his past five games and the matchup is very favourable for him to pot another one or two.
