NHL Betting: Kraken vs Golden Knights & Sharks vs Coyotes – 3/30/2022

The Vegas Golden Knights will look for a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive against the Seattle Kraken. The Sharks will take on the Arizona Coyotes in a game that will require you to have action on the game to avoid watching an underwhelming affair.

Moneyline: Seattle Kraken (+140) vs Vegas Golden Knights (-167)

The Kraken are looking to keep the good times rolling having won four of their last six games despite moving out key players at the trade deadline. The Kraken have nothing to play for except pride and will take on a desperate Golden Knights team that is looking to snap their seven-game road losing streak.

Robin Lehner is on the ice and could travel with the team on their road trip but it’s likely that Logan Thompson will still get the start. He got knocked around for four goals in his last start against the Chicago Blackhawks despite getting the victory. The Knights will need Jack Eichel to continue to play well adding to his two goals and three points over his last two contests.

While the Kraken may be playing well, a team as bad as they have been all year likely won’t be able to keep pace with a much better Vegas team. The Kraken lost to the Golden Knights earlier this season and are the 27th-ranked team in goals allowed per game with an ugly 11-18-3 record at Climate Pledge Arena.

Moneyline: San Jose Sharks (-161) vs Arizona Coyotes (+135)

With two teams not being in playoff contention, they don’t have much to play for aside from each other. Sharks’ James Reimer is the confirmed starter for this game and has played well all season as the team’s number one goalie. The Sharks should also get a boost in this one with captain Logan Couture expected to make his return after missing the team’s last game due to a bruised lung.

Both teams are pretty banged up with lots of injuries, but the Sharks have more top-end talent than the Coyotes at this point. The Sharks should be able to rally around the fact that they will have their best option in goal in the crease and get their captain back on the ice. Arizona is also on a six-game losing streak allowing 24 goals and scoring only nine in that stretch.
