NHL Betting: Kings vs Kraken & Capitals vs Devils – 03/26/2022

There is a lot of potential action to bet on this weekend with 24 teams in action today alone. The two games below are ones that are good options to try your luck on when creating your wagers.

Moneyline: Los Angeles Kings (-225) vs Seattle Kraken (+185)

The LA Kings fell to the Chicago Blackhawks in a shootout in their last game on home ice and will be looking to get back into the win column. They have the Edmonton Oilers nipping at their heels in the standings and will be desperate to bank points. Jonathan Quick started the last two games, but with him coming off a loss, the crease will likely flip to Cal Petersen.

The Kings’ play has fluctuated recently but they have done a good job bouncing back after losses and recently got forward Viktor Arvidsson back from injury. Phillip Danault has three goals in his last four games, while his linemate Trevor Moore is riding a four-game points streak with shorthanded goals in back-to-back games.

Seattle has nothing to play for this late into the season and are hunting down the best odds for the number one overall selection at the 2023 Draft. Seattle is bad on the road with a 9-20-3 record, so don’t expect them to be too much of a problem for LA.

Moneyline: Washington Capitals (+165) vs New Jersey Devils (-200)

The Devils are coming off a tight game against the Toronto Maple Leafs that ended in a 3-2 loss. Despite their poor record this season, they remain a team with a lot of promise, especially considering their young offensive talent. Nico Hischier is on a four-game point streak and has posted two goals and six assists in that span.

The Devils are coming off two days of rest since their last game, while the Capitals are coming off a tight 4-3 shootout victory to the Buffalo Sabres. Washington traveled back home from Washington, which could leave them sluggish and tired to start the game. A young and fast-paced team like the Devils could strike early and the speed at which they play could cause problems for their opponent. The Devils won the last meeting between these two teams 4-3 and would provide solid value as the underdog.
