NHL Betting: Golden Knights vs Canucks – Moneyline, Over/Under, Props – 4/06/22

This betting guide will cover everything of use in tonight’s game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Vancouver Canucks.

Vegas Golden Knights (-165) vs Vancouver Canucks (+140)

It’s very tough to look at this game and not think the Golden Knights are going to roll over the Canucks. They have won five games in a row and are playing well at the right time to stay in the playoff race. This includes the previous game in which the Golden Knights won in overtime. This game occurs in Vegas where the Golden Knights have also won five in a row dating back to the start of March.

The Canucks have not played well and have fallen out of the playoff race by racking up losses. They’ve dropped three in a row and are finishing their second home-and-home in a row. They’ve won just two of their past nine games and lost to the Golden Knights earlier in the season as well by a score of 7-4. The Golden Knights and their top players can’t seem to be stopped, so expect them to keep rolling tonight but the under (U6, -120) to hit since it may be a close game again.

Props

Jonathan Marchessault – Goals (O0.5, +150)

Jonathan Marchessault is the first player of interest in tonight’s game. He has been on fire with not only points but goals as well. His point streak is at five with 10 points in that time but his goal streak is sitting at three coming into this one. He has taken 26 shots over the last five games as well so it’s no wonder the pucks are going in.

With just two goals from hitting 30 for the second time in his career and one point from his career-high in points for a season, expect him to keep rolling. This depleted lineup has gotten solid contributions from the remaining top-end players with the key injuries.

Shea Theodore – Points (O0.5, +105)

Shea Theodore is tied for the sixth-most points on the team over the past two weeks but has quietly been getting on the scoresheet. He has a four-game point streak that consists of three goals and an assist. It would be risky and I don’t think it’s worth it to bet on a defenceman scoring a goal, so a better bet is for him to move his streak to five games in what should be another win tonight.

As I mentioned, all the key players remaining in the lineup are stepping up at the right time, and that includes Theodore. He leads the defencemen on the team in points and gets an equal amount of time on the power play as Alex Pietrangelo. With the way Vegas has been able to score, it is likely Theodore will find the scoresheet again.
