NHL Betting: Stanley Cup Final Game 4 Player Props – 06/22/2022

The Tampa Bay Lightning made it a series again, smacking the Colorado Avalanche in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final to the tune of a 6-2 victory. Game 4 is set for Wednesday in Tampa as the Lightning try and tie things up. This betting guide will give some insight into some of the best value player props for Wednesday’s game.

Corey Perry Shots: Over 1.5 (-125)

Corey Perry had been in quite a slump until Game 3 of this series. He bounced back on Monday with his first goal in his last nine games. His last goal was back on May 22, all the way in Game 3 of Tampa’s second-round series against the rival Florida Panthers. But Perry has been streaky. The former Hart Trophy winner scored in three of the four games against the Panthers.

He’s been getting more and more involved in the offense the last two games and has at least three shots on goal in each of those contests. Perry has gotten more involved in the physical aspect of the series, and the more involved he is there, the more active he is on offense. This number seems low. Take Perry to get at least two shots on goal (-125) in this one.

Andrei Vasilevskiy Saves: Over 32.5 (-125)

Andrei Vasilevsky had a rough stretch through the first two games of the series, but he was happy to be back home in Game 3. After giving up 11 goals through the contests in Colorado, Vasilevskiy made 37 saves in the first game of the series in Florida. He has to be Tampa’s best player in the series, and he most certainly was in Monday’s victory.

Vasilevskiy made more than 32 saves in Games 1 and 3, and the goaltenders against the Avalanche have had to make at least 33 saves in 14 of Colorado’s 17 playoff games. The Avs will be playing with more desperation after their first road loss of the postseason, but their offensive output has been consistently north of this number. Take Vasilevskiy to make at least 33 saves (-125).

Gabriel Landeskog Anytime Goalscorer (+200)

Gabriel Landeskog has three goals in the first three games of the series, including two in Game 3. He’s been one of Colorado’s best players throughout the playoffs, even if guys like Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon have gotten the bulk of the attention. In the playoffs, Landeskog has 11 goals and 21 points, and he has four goals in his last four games. He scored both Colorado goals in Game 3, including the first goal of the game.

He’s been the one skater the Lightning hasn’t had an answer for, and this number has a lot of value for a guy that’s been sizzling throughout the postseason. Both of his goals in Game 3 came on the power play, but he gets tons of minutes in all sorts of situations for Colorado. Goal scorer picks can sometimes be tricky, but the value of taking Landeskog to score again (+200) is too good to pass up.
