NHL Betting: Oilers vs Flames Player Props – Kane, Barrie, Lindholm – 05/22/22

The best player props for the Game 2 matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames as the series heads to Edmonton with the teams tied 1-1.

Evander Kane – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+130)

Evander Kane has been quiet in this second-round series thus far in terms of getting on the scoresheet. He has just one assist, while the Oilers have scored 11 goals. He has been up and down between the first and second line, but if he gets more five-on-five time with Connor McDavid at the level he is playing at, Kane will get his looks to finish plays.

He scored seven goals in the first series and the Oilers definitely have Flames’ goaltender Jacob Markstrom figured out. After going shotless in Game 1 of the series, Kane came back and started firing the puck again. It’s a good sign that he is close to scoring again since he isn’t expected to be stopped for long, especially in key games like these.

Tyson Barrie – Assists (Over 0.5, +170) & Power-Play Points (Over 0.5, +210)

Tyson Barrie has been quieter in the playoffs other than a game-winning goal in Game 6 of Round 1. The Oilers’ power play has struggled to score goals against the Flames after a solid performance in the first round. They’ve gone one-for-10 on the power play and have as many shorthanded goals in this series.

The power play should get on track soon since they’ve even had a hard time getting set up in the offensive zone. Once that clicks, Barrie is a threat to get both an assist and points on the man advantage again, probably on the same play. It is a good value to gamble on considering the Oilers’ power play is very good with some of the best players in the world as well as Barrie being a power-play specialist in his own right.

Elias Lindholm – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+160)

Elias Lindholm plays on one of the most dominant lines in the NHL this season. They have produced a significant amount of points in just two games in Round 2 already. He has one goal and two points in this series for a total of four goals and eight points in the playoffs.

With his linemate Johnny Gaudreau feeding him the puck with his five assists through two games, Lindholm will get in the right position and tuck another puck in the back of the net in Game 3. It may not be the first goal of the game like Game 1 of the series, but it should come at some point as it has been hard to completely shut down the Flames this season, especially the top line.
