NHL Betting: Oilers vs Avalanche Player Props – Rantanen, Bouchard, Kane – 06/04/22

The best player props for the Game 3 matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and the Colorado Avalanche as the series heads to Edmonton.

Mikko Rantanen – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+120)

Mikko Rantanen has found his scoring touch at the right time as the Avalanche are looking to take a stranglehold on the series and go up 3-0. He had scored just one goal in the playoffs, coming in Game 4 of the series vs the St. Louis Blues, before scoring in back-to-back games to kick off Round 3.

He is now up to three goals and 15 points in 12 games and the three-time 30-goal scorer who set a career high in goals this season with 36 is finally getting his scoring touch back. His confidence is growing with each solid performance, so look for him to score for a third game in a row.

Evan Bouchard – Points (Over 0.5, +145)

Evan Bouchard has been the most effective defenceman for the Oilers offensively in these playoffs, scoring three goals and recording nine points in 14 games. He has shown off the power behind his slap shot and been in the right area of the ice to get good shots. He often pinches to keep the play alive, but it has come back to hurt the Oilers as well. When it is executed well, it allows for him and the Oilers to have more sustained pressure that could lead to more points.

The Oilers have the most goals for and the second-most goals for per game, so it’s likely Bouchard will be in on the action if the team ends up scoring a few.

Evander Kane – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+130)

Evander Kane and the rest of the Oilers were held off of the scoresheet last game and are primed for a bounce-back game in which the big guns should find the scoresheet. He is one of the forces that has led the offence, scoring 13 goals in 14 games and coming up with big game performances throughout the playoffs thus far.

Kane has scored in six of the 14 games, recorded two hat tricks, and been the most effective when he’s been on a line with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The Oilers may very well have to go back to that line combination after they were shut out to get the offence going once again. Kane is a dangerous scorer and will continue to be a threat to get a goal or more every game.
