NHL Betting: Kings vs Oilers Player Props – Draisaitl, Bouchard, Danault – 05/06/22

The best player props for the Game 3 matchup between the Los Angeles Kings and the Edmonton Oilers as the series heads to Los Angeles.

Leon Draisaitl – Anytime Goal-Scorer (Over 0.5, +110) & Power-Play Points (Over 0.5, +110)

Leon Draisaitl has continued his playoff success by starting off the series against the Kings with power-play goals in each game. Both have been big goals and he is firing pucks accurately from his spot down low of the right circle. The Oilers’ power play has really taken over in the series, going 4-for-8 and Draisaitl is responsible for a good amount of that success.

There’s no indication that the Kings have found a way to slow down the power play of the Oilers, so you can count on a goal or two again if the trend continues. If Draisaitl doesn’t get a power-play goal, expect that he is in on one in some capacity.

Jesse Puljujarvi – Points (Over 0.5, +120)

Jesse Puljujarvi finally got on the board in the last game in a 6-0 win when Connor McDavid made sure he had the best opportunity to finish off a play. It was his second career playoff goal in his sixth game and the first goal and point of the 2022 Playoffs. Whether he gets a goal or an assist, Puljujarvi is playing on the top line with McDavid and Evander Kane and will get his opportunities to tally points. Since he got on the board last game, expect his confidence to have raised a bit and see him taking more chances offensively.

Phillip Danault – Points (Over 0.5, -133)

Phillip Danault and the second line have been around the Oilers’ goal a lot in this series thus far. They have been the biggest threat but were held scoreless in Game 2 after combining for three goals and four assists. Danault recorded a goal and an assist in Game 1 and 2021-22 has by far been his most productive season for goal-scoring.

If Danault doesn’t pot one on a confident Mike Smith, he will likely be in on one of his linemates’ goals. It should be a lower-scoring game, but the Kings’ second line has already broken through and will be looking to do so again.
