MLB Betting: Rays vs Rangers & Mariners vs Orioles – 06/02/2022

There are a dozen games going on in Major League Baseball today, and that means plenty of options for games to wager on. These two series are wrapping up, and this betting guide has some of the better value plays on the American League side from Thursday’s slate of games.

Baseball Lines: Tampa Bay Rays (-140) vs Texas Rangers (+115)

Before yesterday’s hiccup, Texas was on a decent surge. The Rangers have won six of their last eight, including two of three against Tampa Bay in this series. Texas has also won six of the last nine meetings against the Rays. However, they’ve struggled against righty starters, and Tampa’s Corey Kluber has been picking things up. Take the Rays to win in back-to-back days here (-140).

Kluber has been very good lately, giving up just five earned runs combined in his last three outings. In his nine starts this season, the under has hit seven times. The under has also hit in the last two games of this series. Look for this one to stay low scoring, too. Lean towards the under (U8.5, -110) as these teams close out the series.

Baseball Lines: Seattle Mariners (-115) vs Baltimore Orioles (-105)

These teams have split the last two games, and neither game has been close. Jordan Lyles gets the start for Baltimore, and he’s been much more consistent than his counterpart in Seattle starter Chris Flexen. This Orioles money line (-105) looks like it has some decent value, and the line has been moving in Baltimore’s favor since the line opened. Lean toward Baltimore here.

Both of the games in this series have hit the over. Flexen has been erratic, so there could be some more runs delivered Thursday. The over has also landed in the last five Mariners road games. This is a good spot to take it again, as it’s got a decent number. Look for these two teams to score a bunch again, and take the over (O9, -105).
